متن کاملIntradiploic meningioma of the orbit: a case report.
We report a case of a 12-year-old male child who presented with a gradual onset exopthalmos involving the left eye. The plain radiographs of the skull showed hyperostosis of the left orbital roof. The computerized tomography (CT) scan revealed an intradiploic orbital roof tumor with expansion of both the tables of the orbital roof. The tumor was completely excised by an extradural route using a...

Spheno-orbital meningioma have traditionally been defined as secondary tumors of the orbit originating from the dura of the sphenoid wing bone. Nevertheless, pathologic findings reveal a distinct periorbital component as a defining feature of these lesions. These tumors are characterized by an intraosseous mass growth leading to a significant hyperostosis involving the sphenoid wing, the orbita...

A case of a patient with an accidentally discovered scalp mass is presented. Radiological investigation documented an osteolytic intradiploic lesion of the cranial vault.
